Tour #2: Bebob, Boulevards, and Boomtown: A Detroit Story
Streets, Skyscrapers, and All That Jazz. This walking tour features downtown highlights, including Griswold Street, Campus Martius, and Grand Circus Park districts. Then we journey to the historic neighborhoods of Paradise Valley and Black Bottom, where jazz and blues reigned supreme. Hear the stories of historic jazz clubs, cohesive neighborhoods, and local businesses impacted by urban renewal and freeway construction. This is Detroit’s Jazz Tour.

Monday to Friday: 9 AM – 4 PM
Saturday: 10 AM – 2 PM
Sunday: Closed
Most tours are at 10 AM and 2 PM on weekdays at 9 AM or 11 AM on some Saturdays. We may adjust start times during extreme weather.
Pricing Policy
Tours start at $37-$57 per person.
Most tours are limited to 14 people max.
Group discounts available for 6 or more.
Private tours available too.
